MICHIGAN CHAPTER - EIA

The mission of the Michigan Chapter of the Employee Involvement Association is to assist chapter members in their efforts to operate and promote successful employee involvement processes, suggestion programs and quality initiatives, and to support the mission and aims of the National Employee Involvement Association.

AIMS (MICHIGAN CHAPTER)

To exchange ideas with other employee suggestion program professionals.
To disseminate information about employee involvement programs, i.e., employee suggestions and quality programs.
To help improve members' involvement in suggestions and quality programs.
To provide educational opportunities to members and non-members.
To assist with providing practical solutions to members' suggestion program problems.
To recognize members' successes through award and recognition programs.

GEOGRAPHIC AREA (MICHIGAN CHAPTER)

The Michigan Chapter of EIA primarily services members from the states of Michigan and Ohio, and the southwestern section of the province of Ontario, Canada.

EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT ASSOCIATION (EIA) - NATIONAL

The Employee Involvement Association (National) is a not-for-profit service organization composed of member organizations from business, industry, education, and government.

The mission of EIA (National) is to be the leader in optimizing the effectiveness of organizations through employee involvement processes and quality initiatives.

AIMS (EIA-NATIONAL)

To collect and disseminate information, statistics, advice, and materials about employee involvement concepts and suggestion programs.
To enhance the quality of employee involvement concepts by developing professional standards and programs.
To anticipate, identify, and provide world trends and patterns that might affect employee involvement performance.
To keep abreast of research being done in the behavioral sciences.
To develop and sponsor educational opportunities for the benefit of employee involvement professionals.
To provide opportunities for members and non-members to meet and to provide an authoritative counseling service.
